Position Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth. This role manages and grows relationships with distributors, key accounts, and end users while executing divisional sales strategies aligned with overall company objectives. The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales professional with strong technical aptitude, channel management experience, and the ability to operate independently in a multi-state territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue and margin targets
- Manage and grow relationships with distributors and key end-user accounts across the region
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within industrial, warehouse, logistics, and manufacturing markets
- Conduct regular in-person customer visits, sales trainings, and product demonstrations
- Collaborate with inside sales, engineering, operations, and marketing teams to deliver accurate solutions
- Manage the sales pipeline, forecasts, and territory plans using reporting tools and programs
- Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to leadership and product innovation teams
- Support trade shows, regional events, and industry associations as needed
- Ensure consistent representation of the WireCrafter brand, values, and customer service standards
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of distributor-based sales models
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- High level of self-motivation, organization, and time management
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (50–70%)
Preferred Experience
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, industrial manufacturing, warehouse solutions, or engineered products
- Proven success managing multi-state territories and channel partners
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
