Driver Transport (Load)

Overview

GPM Transportation is a rapidly growing fuel transportation company with operations throughout the Central and Eastern regions of the United States. Whether for home or commercial use, or for wholesale and retail fuel operations, you can count on GPM Transportation for reliable fuel transportation, storage, and delivery services.  This is an overnight position that includes working weekends.  Days off will be Tue/Wed OR Wed/Thur.  Your primary responsibility is to deliver petroleum products safely, efficiently, and professionally to our client locations. 

• Sign on Bonus of $4,000.00 for drivers with 1 or more years of fuel transport experience! 
• Home Daily
• Overnight and weekend differential.
• Paid Weekly

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and deliver petroleum products to our customers in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. 
• Drive to destination in accordance with all federal, state and local regulations and company policies/procedures.
• Be able to prepare and document activities in accordance with Federal D.O.T. Regulations and Company Policies and Procedures.
• Be able to perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle.
• Accurately complete required documentation as required by law.
• Maintain Hours of Service requirements/medical certification in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• CDL A with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements
• TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Card), or the ability to obtain one.
• 2+ years' experience as a CDL truck driver, preferably with liquid/ potential shifting loads.
• 1+ year of Petroleum Hauling experience. 
• Must possess and maintain a D.O.T Medical Certificate and meet FMCSA Medical Standards.
• Ability to adapt and anticipate unexpected situations such as traffic, weather, road conditions, schedule changes, etc. 
• Ability to regularly lift, push and pull 30 - 50 pounds and use fuel hoses and related equipment.
