About the Role

Description

San Diego Mission Bay Resort is a sprawling 357-room resort, boasting multiple dining options, a beautiful, renovated pool, a kid's pool, astonishing Bay views, fire pits and so much more. We are excited to welcome a new Greeter to Mission Bay to be part of an enthusiastic family that strives to create joyful memories.


As a Host/Hostess, you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with people from all over the world! Our Host/Hostess proudly showcase our hotel, amenities and surroundings. As a Host/Hostess you will create a special memory for those visiting our multiple dining options, guide them through the property and create a special memory for those visiting our San Diego Mission Bay Resort. This is a highly visible role in which you directly impact the guests visit and have the ability to create memories that will last a lifetime!

To be successful in this position, we are looking for a friendly, professional and organized Host/Hostess to be the welcoming face of our Covewood Restaurant. The ideal candidate will great guests warmly, manage reservations and wait-lists, and ensure a smooth dining experience from arrival to seating. If you enjoy creating positive first impressions and providing excellent customer services, we would love to meet you. 


The OFFER

As a member of San Diego Mission Bay Resort Team, you will receive:

Requirements


  • Previous host/hostess or customer service experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Reliable, hard-working, friendly, energetic
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
