Rental Agent Location: Overland Park, KS (Serving Johnson County Area)

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Rental Agent to join our team and serve as the welcoming face of our car rental business in Overland Park and the surrounding Johnson County area. In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service while efficiently handling all aspects of the rental process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Finalize customer rental reservations professionally, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from greeting to departure.
• Provide outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries, recommending suitable vehicles, and explaining rental terms clearly.
• Manage inventory, including vehicle tracking and preparation.
• Perform callbacks to customers as needed.
• Wash and clean vehicles to maintain high presentation standards.
• Audit and review rental paperwork for accuracy and compliance.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional half-day weekend shifts.

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for customer service.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or retail preferred; car rental or automotive knowledge is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

All of our representatives must be certified to drive; must have a valid driver's license

Must have fewer than 3 tickets or 2 at-fault accidents in the last 3 years

Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen
