Hobson & Motzer Inc., a leading developer of progressive dies and precision metal stampings, is currently seeking an experienced Tool and Die Maker to join our modern temperature-controlled Tool Room.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Major emphasis on maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting progressive dies and fixtures.
  • Ability to fabricate new tooling components using tool room equipment when needed.
  • Inspect own work using variety of inspection equipment.
  • Familiarity with power presses and associated production equipment preferred.
  • Maintain an organized, clean and safe work environment and follows 6S standards.
  • Properly follow all safety procedures and policies. Uses correct P.P.E.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.

Requirements

  • High School or Vocational Technical School Diploma.
  • Two to four years' experience as a state approved Journeyman.
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years' experience in building/troubleshooting progressive tools; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
