We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud / DevSecOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, security, and ongoing support of cloud‑native solutions that enable mission‑focused development teams. In this role, you will architect AWS-based environments, automate infrastructure provisioning, develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and provide expert guidance to engineering teams on secure cloud operations and best practices. You will work closely with cross‑functional technical and business stakeholders to ensure that our cloud platforms, development workflows, and deployment processes remain modern, resilient, and compliant with security and regulatory standards.

As a senior technical contributor, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex platform issues and helping to define and uphold cloud engineering and DevSecOps standards across the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in requirements elaboration with architects, system owners, and development teams to define technical requirements and provide expert guidance on cloud architecture and DevSecOps implementation strategies.
- Design, build, and optimize AWS cloud environments to support development, testing, and production workloads.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using technologies such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools to standardize and automate cloud infrastructure provisioning.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS-native services.
- Integrate security scanning tools and DevSecOps controls into CI/CD workflows to ensure compliance with organizational and federal security guidelines.
- Administer, monitor, and optimize Linux-based environments, including troubleshooting system-level issues related to performance, configuration, and security.
- Partner closely with development teams to align cloud resources, pipelines, and tooling with application architecture and deployment requirements.
- Provide expert-level technical guidance on containerization (Docker), orchestration platforms (Kubernetes/EKS), and cloud‑native application hosting patterns.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and manage cloud security controls, including IAM hardening, network segmentation, encryption, patching processes, and vulnerability remediation.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, architectural diagrams, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Participate in root cause analysis efforts and contribute to optimizing cloud operations, system resiliency, and incident response processes.
- Support end‑to‑end delivery workflows to ensure seamless operation of environments, pipelines, and cloud services throughout the development lifecycle.
- Provide regular updates to project stakeholders and actively participate in Agile ceremonies as part of a cross‑functional engineering team.
