Job Description: Continuously upholds The Reserve at Lake Keowee’s mission, values, and service expectations in everyday work performance. Under the supervision of the Director of Food and Beverage, responsible for the preparation of beverage cart sales while on course and inventory controls of stock. Distribution of assorted beverages, alcoholic drinks and various snacks. Processes guest’s orders and ensures that all items are prepared properly and in a timely manner. 


Essential Job Functions:·  

Prepare an assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, serving alcoholic drinks only to those 

Bartenders should ask for proof of age if person's age in questionable.

·  Prepare and serve various snacks. ·  Receive and record all monetary transactions.·

  Maintain a clean and orderly cart at all times.

 ·  Project yourself in a positive and professional manner with guests and co-workers at all times. 

·  Inspect cart to see that maintenance problems are corrected promptly, reporting these problems to the Manager.

 ·  Keep halfway house properly stocked.  Morning, mid- day, and end of shift check in at the halfway house.  

·  Perform other duties as assigned supervisor.

Supervisory Responsibility:    None 

Work Environment:  While working the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The work environment is friendly and professional and can be busy, fast- paced and energetic.  Work environment will at times be exposed to extreme heat. Work environment is exposed to cleaning chemicals and solutions on a daily basis. 

Physical Demands:  Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 6 hours in length.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience: Bartending 1 year (preferred) Restaurant 1 year (preferred.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Must have dependable transportation. Server must be at least 21 years of age.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance (If applicable): Background check screening required
