About the Role

Description

This is Essential Contractor Services position. Incumbent must be able to work a flexible schedule as deemed necessary for SRC processing on occasion. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures Soldiers and civilians have completed every station in the SRC process.

• Identify a Soldier or civilians’ deployable status, as it should be reflected on DA Form 7425, Readiness and Deployment Checklist.

• Make sure all persons processing through SRC signs out on the appropriate roster.

• Verifies that a Soldier has completed the Post Deployment Health Assessment with annotation on the Re-Deployment, Post Deployment and Reconstitution Checklist 390 (RPDRC).

• Validate Soldiers during the Annual SRC process.

• Must have general knowledge of all stations in the Soldier Readiness Center process.

• Performs general administrative duties (i.e. answering phones and questions of the customer).

• Use discretion when processing Soldiers’ personal information.

• Must have a working knowledge of personnel Stations 1, 10 and 12.

• Assists fellow staff members in controlling the flow of Soldiers throughout the SRC process, to include processing Soldiers for all personnel stations when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

The requirements identified below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required to satisfactorily meet the expectations of this job:


• Must be able to operate a Personal Computer (PC) with a functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (primarily Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Windows graphical user interface) and Data/web based systems required for task area performing work.  

• Must have a working knowledge of Army rank structure and military unit relationships (e.g., Company, Battalion, Brigade, Division, etc). 

• Must be able to work under stressful conditions and be physically able to demonstrate the training/support tasks to standard.  

• Must have a working knowledge of mobilization/demobilization operations IAW FORSCOM Regulation 500-3-1 thru 500-3-5. 

• Must have the appropriate qualifications, certification, and/or license under the requirements for the task area being performed under this contract prior to commencement of work. 

• The job requires senior level leadership and staff experience. 

• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

• Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself to make improvements or take corrective action.

• Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.

• The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.

• The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

At a minimum, possess a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.  Preferred Associate's Degree or higher.  Preferred minimum one year of personnel administrative experience.  Must have a working knowledge of Army rank structure and military unit relationships.  Must be able to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check (NAC).


An equivalent combination of education and experience as identified above.


LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.  Ability to read, comprehend and explain instructions, letters, memos, emails and correspondence from inside the organization as well as from external sources. Ability to effectively respond, communicate and present information to senior management, contracting officials, clients and other employees in the organization.  


REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to organize work, define and solve problems, establish and manage priorities, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions based on facts.  Manager participates in prioritization of work and decision-making on allocation of resources. The incumbent must be able to analyze a situation analytically, evaluate the facts/data and formulate a plan of action.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Must possess a valid U.S. state driver’s license, applicable for the type and class of vehicle being operated.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  Duties are primarily performed in an office environment; however, travel to off-site projects may involve work outdoors; in warehouses; supply points; motor pools; maintenance facilities; etc. for short periods of time.
