Job Summary:

Warehouse Order Pickers are an important part of the All Seasonings team; they use an electric Order Picker lift machine to pull stock from warehouse racking or drop pallets to the floor for picking items for use in fulfilling customer orders. Must have experience using Order Picker Lift Machines, and experience with a computerized inventory system is a plus. Order Pickers, when not picking bulk or finished good orders, will support a variety of warehouse tasks, including, but not limited to, loading and unloading of trucks, unloading of container shipments for storage in warehouse facilities, picking materials stocked in the warehouse to be used in production, and picking packaged products for labeling and shipment out to customers. All of these tasks involve frequent use of warehouse machinery such as a forklift, pallet jack, wrapper, picker machine, turret truck, and other warehouse equipment, as well as frequent heavy lifting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate a motorized high-reach/order picker truck, high-reach forklift, or turret truck to pull either bulk orders for production/blends, or finished good orders to transfer to either the label team or the shipping team to go out to customers 
• Perform other routine warehouse duties as assigned, including but not limited to daily operating duties which include loading & unloading trucks, preparing UPS shipments, filling orders, stock handling, putting shipments away, recording tracking numbers, and shipment staging. 
• Operate motorized forklift, filling machines, picker, and motorized pallet jack to move shipments, load & unload trucks, and stock handling
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by properly disposing of waste materials, sweeping floors, and removing trash daily
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• Team player with a solid work ethic who is always prompt and committed to maintaining consistent work attendance 
• Display exceptional attention to detail as well as the adaptability to move to a different position as required

Requirements

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities -

• Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment
• Ability to read, interpret, sort, check, count, and verify numbers and paperwork
• Physically able to lift and manipulate heavy objects
• Clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing
• Strong organizational skills
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Experience, Education, and Training -

• High school diploma/GED required
• Equivalent combinations of education and work experience will be considered
• Food & Beverage or perishable goods industry experience is highly desirable
• Electronic Inventory- handheld scanners- experience strongly preferred
• Power Equipment experience strongly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for dealing with customers, crewmembers, and vendors
• Consistently demonstrates the application of FIFO (First-In, First-Out) asset management control
