In New York City, our Urban Adventures tours bring the energy of the city to life -  from hidden neighbourhood gems and incredible street food to the stories that make NYC one of the most fascinating cities in the world. Our travellers don’t just see the sights; they experience the city like a local.

This is a part-time seasonal role in New York City. The hourly wage is $36.00 USD plus gratuities.

Do you dream of inspiring travelers and helping them fall in love with their destination by immersing them in your local culture and exposing them to real life experiences? Being a Tour Leader with Intrepid, you will do just that!

To be considered you may also have:  

• Excellent communication in English and ideally one other local language (the more the better!)    

• Strong customer service experience and experience in developing a rapport with a broad range of traveller's  

• Ability to manage trip budget and handle sums of money   

• Map reading skills and a good sense of direction 

Additional Skills & Attributes: 

• New York City Department of Consumer & Worker Protection Sightseeing Guide License (or willing to obtain) 

• A willingness to work flexible hours according to the groups needs 

• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates recommended
