We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Human Resources & Benefits Generalist to join our growing organization. This role plays an important part in supporting employees and leadership through the administration of HR programs, benefits, workforce compliance, and employee engagement initiatives.
 

The ideal candidate is an organized and analytical HR professional who enjoys working with people while ensuring policies, programs, and processes run effectively. This position works closely with leadership to support workforce operations, improve HR systems, and help create a positive and supportive workplace culture.
 

This position reports functionally to the Director of Human Resources and works collaboratively with organizational leadership to support operational goals.

  

What You'll Do

Human Resources Administration

· Administer HR programs and policies to ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational standards

· Maintain personnel records, HR documentation, and confidential employee information

· Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to support leadership decision-making

· Provide guidance to supervisors and employees regarding HR procedures and policies

Benefits & Leave Administration

· Manage employee benefits programs including enrollments, qualifying life events, and open enrollment

· Serve as the HR liaison with benefit vendors, insurance carriers, and internal departments

· Interpret benefit plans and assist employees with eligibility and documentation requirements

· Administer employee leave programs in accordance with applicable policies and laws

Recruitment & Employee Lifecycle

· Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening support, and interview scheduling

· Facilitate onboarding processes and ensure employment documentation compliance

· Support offboarding processes and help evaluate opportunities to improve the employee experience

Training, Development & Engagement

· Administer employee training programs and monitor compliance with required training

· Support workforce development initiatives and provide insights on workforce trends

· Contribute to HR communications, policy documentation, and performance management processes

· Support employee engagement, workplace culture, and wellness initiatives through employee feedback programs and workforce insights

HR Systems & Process Improvement

· Administer HRIS and related HR technology systems ensuring data accuracy and reporting capabilities

· Evaluate HR workflows and recommend process improvements or automation opportunities

· Support organizational compliance and workforce risk management initiatives

   

Compensation & Benefits

· Salary: $65,000–$90,000 per year, commensurate with experience

Work Environment

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent HR experience)

· 3+ years of progressive HR experience including benefits, compliance, or HR program administration

· Ability to interpret employment policies, HR procedures, and regulatory requirements

· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems

· Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

· PHR or SHRM-CP certification

· Experience with HR platforms such as Paylocity, Employee Navigator, Principal, or similar systems

· Experience supporting employee handbook policies or HR documentation
