Piscataqua Landscaping & Tree Service is seeking a Field Supervisor to join our Landscape Division in the beautiful Lakes Region!


The Field Supervisor provides leadership and direction to multiple employees with various skills and responsibilities. This is a working position that will support crews on various job sites, and reports directly to the Maintenance Operations Manager. Field Supervisors are responsible for the completion of all duties in a professional manner, ensuring that all tasks are done to Piscataqua’s standards. Field Supervisors are also responsible for the overall professional, quality and quantity of work performed by the crews.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operates all company equipment productively and safely.
  • Conducts daily equipment checks and maintenance, help plan and schedule work assignments, equipment needs and materials for daily work in conjunction with Maintenance Operations Manager.
  • Directs crews to maintain all jobs sites in a neat and organized manner.
  • Communicates clearly with the Maintenance Operations Manager and all assigned crew members.
  • Coaches, motivates and leads crews, improving morale and productivity by example.
  • Oversees the condition of the properties and reports/documents any problems observed or encountered to the Maintenance Operations Manager daily.
  • Visits multiple properties on a daily basis to ensure quality and assist crews as needed in the field to finish jobs on time and to Piscataqua's standards.

· Report all accidents and safety violations to Maintenance Operations Manager by the end of the day and ensure injury or proper reports are submitted to Human Resources daily.

· Train crew members in the proper procedures to safely execute their jobs and duties.

· Teach the proper techniques on related job functions.

· Must have basic ability and knowledge to make various field repairs.

· Responsible for tracking assigned tools and equipment for their crews.

· Participates in snow duties and additional duties as assigned.

· Ensure crew assignments are noted on the crew schedule board and the employees are using Aspire crew mobile daily with follow up trainings as needed.

· Assist in crew training with the divisional operations managers throughout the season.

· Communicate personnel, operational, and customer issues and needs to HQ leadership or direct report in a timely manner.


Additional Duties

  • Actively participate in the manager on duty program (MOD)
  • Must have basic ability and knowledge to make various field repairs.
  • Responsible for tracking assigned tools and equipment for their crews.
  • Involvement with snow removal during the winter in whatever capacity is needed.
  • Follows and adheres to guidelines in the company and employee handbook.
  • Additional duties as assigned
