Automotive Detailer

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an Automotive Detailer to join our team. As an Automotive Detailer, you will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are thoroughly cleaned and prepared for delivery to customers. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a passion for cars and takes pride in their work.

CORE DUTIES

• Cleans interior and exterior of vehicles, performing any combination of following duties: Wash vehicle exterior using cleaning solution, water, cloths and brushes 
• Vacuum/Clean interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris, using vacuum cleaner or air hose. 
• Cleans upholstery, rugs and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices. 
• Cleans engine and engine compartment and various cleaning agents to remove grease and debris. 
• Applies special purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials utilizing experience and following recommendations of product manufacturer. 
• Applies wax and or uses buffing equipment as required. 
• All other cleaning of vehicles as needed or directed. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid state driver’s license 
• Clean 3-year MVD record 
• Prior detailing experience preferred 
• Ability to meet environmental demands 
• Willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold the standard for service quality 
• Availability to work flexible hours which may include weekends 
• Ability to work in all weather conditions 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work safely around machinery, tools, and manufacturing equipment

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed in an environment that may include exposure to manufacturing equipment, moving mechanical parts, noise, fumes, or varying temperatures, depending on the role.
