About the Role

Description

Kunes Auto Group is looking for motivated Automotive Technician Interns who are currently enrolled in an automotive technical training program and want to gain real-world dealership experience while completing school.

This internship provides hands-on exposure to a professional service department where interns work alongside experienced technicians, learn dealership service processes, and begin building the skills needed for a successful career in the automotive industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for students who want to transition into a full-time technician role after graduation.

What You’ll Do

Assist experienced technicians with vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs
Perform basic services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and multipoint inspections
Learn dealership service procedures, diagnostic processes, and repair documentation
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with shop safety standards
Use dealership systems and service tools under supervision
Support the service team with additional tasks as needed

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Currently enrolled in an automotive technician training program (or recent graduate)
Passion for automotive repair and learning the trade
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn from experienced technicians
Basic understanding of automotive systems and tools
Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment
Valid driver’s license preferred
