About the Role

Kunes Auto Group is looking for motivated Automotive Technician Interns who are currently enrolled in an automotive technical training program and want to gain real-world dealership experience while completing school.


This internship provides hands-on exposure to a professional service department where interns work alongside experienced technicians, learn dealership service processes, and begin building the skills needed for a successful career in the automotive industry.


This is an excellent opportunity for students who want to transition into a full-time technician role after graduation.


What You’ll Do

  • Assist experienced technicians with vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs
  • Perform basic services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and multipoint inspections
  • Learn dealership service procedures, diagnostic processes, and repair documentation
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with shop safety standards
  • Use dealership systems and service tools under supervision
  • Support the service team with additional tasks as needed


Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in an automotive technician training program (or recent graduate)
  • Passion for automotive repair and learning the trade
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn from experienced technicians
  • Basic understanding of automotive systems and tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
