The Business Development Manager is a passionate, results-driven, commercially astute professional. You are an apt client service manager, a team player, and passionate for bringing data and insights to action. You are a good communicator, working closely with the multi-location On Premise teams to shape the best solutions to your clients’ challenges.
Responsibilities
- Commercially driven it will be the responsibility of the Business Development Manager - On Premise to identify and secure revenue opportunities that facilitate business unit growth whilst providing clients with relevant business building solutions
- Full commercial responsibility from Identifying new client opportunities, to creating and presenting business proposals, converting deals and supporting delivery of insight presentations
- Work on market and account growth plans - including continuations, renewals, identification of new opportunities in your priority markets
- Spending time with your clients to understand key challenges and opportunities
- Responsible for client success, ensuring contracted deliverables and project work is delivered on time, on budget and to target
Requirements
- A genuine interest in, and knowledge of, the On Premise (bars/ restaurants/ cafes) sector
- Great communicator, positive energy and ability to motivate and inspire
- Organised and focused on getting things done
- Experience in client facing and/ or account management roles within FMCG with a consultative edge
- Experience within a data agency or On Premise drinks supplier, distributor or retailer is not necessary but would be valuable
