XTEND is seeking an experienced and highly capable Project Manager to lead our new manufacturing setup projects abroad and drive comprehensive knowledge transfer processes from HQ.
This role focuses on establishing stable and scalable supply chain & manufacturing operations for XTEND products with production lines, coordinating multidisciplinary teams on‑site, building and developing a local workforce, and ensuring continuous alignment with the headquarters in Israel.
The objective is to enable XTEND to transition from development/current production to reliable production with qualified contract manufacturers and a stable local supply chain
Responsibilities:
- Lead full‑cycle project management for establishing new production lines, including planning, execution, ramp‑up, stabilization, and handover to local operations.
- Manage logistical, operational, and technical aspects specific to the site: production layout, facility readiness, equipment and hardware procurement, local supply chain establishment, and operational infrastructure.
- Drive knowledge‑transfer activities between HQ in Israel and the sites team, including hands‑on training, documentation, and technical onboarding.
- Build and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, risk assessments, and execution methodologies.
- Collaborate with local partners and HR teams to recruit, onboard, and develop strong local operational teams.
- Provide ongoing visibility to management in Israel through structured reporting, project reviews, and key decision checkpoints.
- Lead cross‑functional collaboration with NPI, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and operations teams to ensure full alignment across all project stages.
- Perform pre‑project assessments and post‑implementation evaluations to support continuous improvement.
- Establish strong, trust‑based working relationships with teams and stakeholders, ensuring professionalism, clarity, and high execution standards.
- Partner with the COO and VP Ops to build reliable new Xfubs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management or Program Management - must
- Professional background in NPI, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or production planning - must
- Experience leading multidisciplinary projects in a matrix environment - must
- High English skills (spoken & written) - must
- Proven leadership ability to motivate, influence, and manage teams on-site - must
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and work with mechanical/electronics file formats - must
- Solid familiarity with manufacturing processes, production workflows, and industrial environments - must
- Experience working with Monday / Priority - advantage
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Availability to travel abroad (up to 50%)
- Relevant academic background such as Industrial Engineering & Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or an engineering/operations-oriented degree - must
