Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Monterrey, Mexico. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality across all departments.

  • Develop and implement strategic operational plans to meet organizational goals
  • Manage and coordinate all production activities, ensuring optimal resource utilization
  • Analyze and improve operational systems, processes, and policies
  • Monitor performance metrics and use data to drive continuous improvement
  • Lead and motivate a team of supervisors and staff to achieve operational excellence
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of operations
  • Manage budgets and control operational expenses
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong knowledge of operations management principles and best practices
  • Excellent project management and process optimization skills
  • Proven ability to analyze performance metrics and implement data-driven improvements
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Fluency in Spanish and English
  • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting
  • Six Sigma certification is a plus
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality control systems
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel within Mexico as needed
