About the Role

Description

Jet Health Inc. is seeking an experienced Hospice Biller to support accurate and timely billing for Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers, and room & board claims. Hospice billing experience and proficiency with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) are required.


Hybrid position– 3 days onsite at Fort Worth corporate office; 2 days remote.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

· Submit and manage hospice claims across all payer types.

· Review documentation for accuracy and compliance.

· Follow up on denials, rejections, and unpaid claims.

· Process corrections, adjustments, and resubmissions.

· Handle room & board billing, including facility reconciliation.

· Communicate with facilities, payers, and internal teams.

· Verify required signed documents (certifications, consents, NOMNC).

· Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA/CMS requirements.


Required Qualifications

· Hospice billing experience required.

· Proficiency in Homecare Homebase (HCHB).

· Knowledge of room & board billing mechanics.

· Understanding of hospice Medicare/Medicaid billing.

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
