About The Company
At the San Francisco SPCA we envision a world in which the love people share with animals uplifts humanity to a state of greater compassion. On a spring day in 1868, San Francisco banker James Sloan Hutchinson caught sight of two men dragging a terrified hog along the rough cobblestone street. Appalled, Hutchinson stepped in to stop the cruelty and rescue the hog. The incident crystallized Hutchinson’s concern over widespread animal abuse, and he soon rallied 15 like-minded citizens to found the San Francisco SPCA. Since then the SF SPCA has become one of San Francisco’s most enduring and respected institutions. It is a national leader in saving homeless cats and dogs and working to end animal abandonment. We all share a common passion here at the San Francisco SPCA. Not just for the animals saved, but for their companions and those in our community who then foster, volunteer, or adopt. Whether affected by illness, injury, or homelessness, the animals we help need our expertise and compassion. You could wake up every day knowing you’ll be “doing good work” in a fulfilling environment where no two days are the same. The SF SPCA has been at the forefront of animal welfare for 150+ years, and Vision 2030 is our plan to positively impact 5+ million lives over the next decade. We are looking for animal-loving professionals to help us turn this vision into reality!
About the Role

Description

About Us

Cornerstone Animal Center is dedicated to expanding access to essential veterinary care for pets and the people who love them throughout California’s Central Valley. Cornerstone Animal Center is an official partner of the San Francisco SPCA, working collaboratively to extend lifesaving veterinary services and support animal welfare across the region.

Our mission is to reduce animal suffering and shelter overpopulation by making preventative veterinary services—such as spay and neuter, vaccinations, and basic wellness care—affordable and within reach for the communities that need them most.

Cornerstone’s mission is to help remove common barriers to care, including distance, cost, and limited availability of veterinary services. We believe that every pet owner deserves access to trusted, compassionate veterinary care, and that healthier pets help create healthier communities.

Cornerstone Animal Center works in partnership with local shelters, rescue organizations, municipalities, and pet owners to strengthen the existing network of animal welfare services across the region. Through collaboration and a shared commitment to animal wellbeing, we aim to create lasting impact for pets and the communities they call home.
