Salary:  $128,458 – $133,489 Pro Rata (Plus 12.5%25 Super)

About the Role:


The Clinical Nurse Educator Policy, Education and Training is responsible for supporting nursing and midwifery staff with the implementation of new policy and procedures and assisting with updates to ensure they reflect CHS requirements and are evidenced based. This role will also support Required training assessment and coordination. The role is also responsible for coordinating and facilitating clinical placements for all nursing and work experience students at North Canberra Hospital, in accordance with established Deeds and Schedules. This role provides high-quality customer service and promotes collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality clinical learning opportunities. It involves reconciling priorities and objectives and ensuring effective clinical placements are offered to students and trainees, while balancing the competing interests of clinical areas, multiple education providers, and student groups to achieve fair and equitable outcomes.

This role requires substantial advanced practice experience in nursing and applies a systems approach to education programs and units of instruction. Additionally, it supports a defined area within the National Quality in Health Care Standards.
