Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9AM-6PM
We are seeking an EMR Integration Coordinator with HL7 experience to support healthcare data integrations between electronic medical record systems and clinical platforms.
This role works closely with an EMR Integration Developer, supporting HL7 interfaces, EMR workflows, and healthcare interoperability projects. It is an excellent opportunity for someone with healthcare IT or interface experience who wants to grow deeper into EMR integrations and healthcare interoperability.

Responsibilities
EMR Integration Coordination
- Serve as the primary contact for EMR and HL7 integration questions and escalations
- Coordinate meetings between clients, developers, and internal support teams
- Track integration tasks, timelines, and follow up items
- Document integration requirements, system updates, and technical issues
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and healthcare clients
Technical Integration Support
- Shadow the EMR Integration Developer to learn system architecture and integration workflows
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining HL7 interfaces and EMR integrations
- Participate in troubleshooting integration issues and root cause analysis
- Review logs and validate HL7 messages including ADT, ORM, ORU, and SIU
- Assist with testing and validating data flows across systems
- Support documentation and improvements to integration processes
Required Qualifications
- Hands on HL7 experience required, including familiarity with:
- ADT
- ORM
- ORU
- SIU
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Comfortable working with developers, engineers, and healthcare clients
Preferred Experience
Experience with one or more of the following:
EMR/EHR Systems
- Epic
- eClinicalWorks (eCW)
- MUSE
- PostgreSQL and SQL Server experience
- Other hospital or ambulatory EMR platforms
Healthcare Integration Technologies
- Mirth Connect / NextGen Connect
- Healthcare interoperability platforms
