About the Role

Description

 Under the general supervision of the Clinical Director, the Residential Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the Buena Vista Residential CILA. The Residential Supervisor ensures that the social, medical, safety and behavior management needs of the program participants are met by; providing supervision and direction to the staff of the home as the Residential Supervisor; providing limited case management services to participants as the Residential Supervisor; taking responsibility for safety and evacuation plans as the Residential Supervisor; and promoting a supportive living environment by always showing respect for the BV participants as the Residential Supervisor. 

Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, social work, or a related field with emphasis in developmental disabilities preferred. 
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with developmentally disabled persons in a professional capacity. 
  • Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) as specified in Rule 119.225 of the DHS DDD standards.
  •  Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. 
  • Must have daily use of a car, current insurance, valid driver’s license, and a driving record acceptable to Agency insurance carrier.
