The Post Oak Hotel is seeking an Engineering Infrastructure and Projects Supervisor to join the only Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences.
The Engineering Infrastructure and Projects Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the operational excellence of our luxury hotel, coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance programs, infrastructure projects, and compliance initiatives while ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, multi‑project environment and is committed to supporting a world‑class guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and documentation of preventative and corrective maintenance programs across all hotel systems
- Manage and optimize the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), including equipment records, PM schedules, and reporting
- Coordinate fire life safety, health, energy, and OSHA‑required programs to ensure full regulatory compliance
- Track, schedule, and maintain all city and state inspections, permits, and certifications
- Manage and coordinate all capital projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and operational objectives are met
- Solicit bids, negotiate pricing, and coordinate vendors for supplies, services, and approved capital projects
- Support the engineering team with hands‑on leadership and act on behalf of senior engineering leadership when required
- Maintain organized maintenance logs, technical documentation, and compliance records
- Communicate facility conditions to leadership and recommend cost‑effective, operationally sound solutions
Qualifications

- 3-5 years in a major hotel, hospital, or building, 1 year of which was in a supervisory capacity. Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred.
- High school or equivalent education required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of building systems, preventative maintenance programs, and applicable building codes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and computerized maintenance management systems
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
- Physical demands:
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks occasionally. Lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis, able to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures like freezers (-10°F) and kitchens (+110°F), possibly for one hour or more
