Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:We are currently hiring a Test Engineer 1 to join our Performance Lab Team to support our global software client in Boise, ID.  In this role, you will evaluate new‑release Single‑Function and Multi‑Function HP printers to confirm they meet all designed performance specifications. You will follow established processes and procedures to ensure accurate data collection and verification. All test results are recorded in an ISO‑certified database and are used by potential customers, making precision and reliability essential. This is a full-time, long-term position where the candidate must be local to the Boise area to be able to work a 100% onsite standard work week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute performance testing on new HP printer models, including both Single Function and Multi-Function devices.
• Validate that products meet defined performance and feature specifications.
• Log test results in an ISO certified database with strict adherence to quality and accuracy standards.
• Follow established lab procedures, documentation practices, and workflow processes.
• Manage tasks efficiently in a time driven, schedule dependent environment.
• Collaborate with team members while also being able to work independently as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of the HP family of printers, including features and functionality.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Proven ability to multitask across multiple projects and priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate results.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements, environments, and situations.
• Comfortable working independently as well as in a team based environment.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.

• A competitive pay range of $17.25-$18.25hr., depending on experience.
• 10 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
