Defense Holdings, Inc. (DHi) is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring that all client payments are processed in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and customer relations, and will be responsible for managing the full cycle of receivables, from invoicing to collections.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Receivable Management
- Oversee the accounts receivable department, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
- Monitor aging accounts and work with clients to resolve any outstanding balances.
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize overdue accounts.
Team Management & Training
- Lead and manage a team of accounts receivable professionals.
- Provide training and support to team members to ensure efficient and accurate processing.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare regular accounts receivable reports for senior management.
- Analyze trends in accounts receivable aging and recommend strategies for improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in accounts receivable or financial management.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and collections processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- CPA or other relevant certification.
- Experience working with government contracts or defense industry clients.
- Leadership: Ability to manage a team and drive performance.
- Communication: Ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and timeliness in accounts receivable operations.
- Professional office environment (or hybrid/remote if applicable).
- Occasional travel may be required.
