About The Company
Over 40 years ago we asked PK–12 librarians what they needed most. The answer then, as it is now, was service. We listened, then acted. That’s the beauty of Mackin. Time-saving Free Services- Mackin set the standard in free services for librarians. From free cataloging and processing to free shipping and order typing, we set the tone that others follow. And today we’ve grown to serve classroom teachers and curriculum directors, too. Friendly and Helpful Equally important is the way we answer the phone. You never talk to a machine. Instead, you speak directly with someone who understands the complexities of your work, and is dedicated to making your job easier. Libraries, Media Centers, Makerspaces, and Classroom Services Our specialty is delivering the very best service possible. We feature Opening Day Collections that fit the exact needs of your students, faculty and community; and free collection mapping that analyzes how an existing collection can be updated to meet today’s standards. Plus, we provide classroom and curriculum services that are unavailable elsewhere. One Source, One Purchase Order Our one-source acquisition service is unique in the industry. Mackin offers access to the largest age-appropriate database of its kind, over 3 million print and digital titles from thousands of publishers in any available format. Having just one source for all your library or classroom needs, and being able to use just one purchase order, will save you oceans of time and money.
