Building the Pipeline

The day often begins by reviewing active opportunities and connecting with clients across the industry.

Typical morning activities include:

✔ Reaching out to agencies, exhibit houses, brand teams, and event producers to discuss upcoming projects

✔ Coordinating with internal teams on project feasibility, timelines, and client needs

✔ Preparing proposals, estimates, or follow-ups for potential graphic production work

This time helps ensure new opportunities are continuously moving through the pipeline.

Client Meetings & Industry Connections

Las Vegas is one of the busiest event markets in the country, so Business Development Managers often spend part of the day out in the field meeting clients and building relationships.

During the day you may:

✔ Meet with clients to discuss upcoming exhibits, brand activations, or environmental graphics

✔ Visit show floors or event venues to understand client needs and upcoming projects

✔ Introduce Exploring Graphics’ capabilities in large format printing, event graphics, signage, and visual solutions

Strong relationships drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Turning Opportunities into Projects

Back at the office, the focus shifts toward moving opportunities forward.

This may include:

✔ Collaborating with production, design, and project teams to develop solutions

✔ Finalizing proposals and pricing for new projects

✔ Coordinating timelines with production teams to ensure delivery expectations are clear

✔ Identifying additional opportunities where clients may need graphics, signage, or event support

Every successful project begins with a strong client relationship and a clear understanding of their goals.

Planning the Next Opportunity

Before wrapping up, Business Development Managers ensure that opportunities are documented and the next steps are clear.

This may include:

✔ Updating the sales pipeline and tracking new opportunities

✔ Following up with clients about upcoming events or campaigns

✔ Planning meetings and outreach for the next day

This preparation ensures the next day begins with clear priorities and momentum.

Successful candidates typically have experience in:
