About the Role

Apt Resources is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a Chef De Partie specializing in Italian cuisine to join a prestigious Italian restaurant in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). This is an exceptional chance to showcase your culinary skills and contribute to an authentic dining experience that highlights the rich flavors of Italian cooking. We are seeking a passionate and skilled chef who can work collaboratively in a vibrant kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Italian dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, incorporating seasonal ingredients and guest feedback.
  • Supervise and support junior kitchen staff, maintaining a high level of teamwork and communication.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of all dishes served, adhering to high culinary standards.
  • Maintain an organized and sanitized cooking environment, following health and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure kitchen efficiency.
  • Stay informed about current culinary trends and techniques specific to Italian cuisine.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef De Partie, specializing in Italian cuisine.
  • Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Italian cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, along with a passion for mentoring team members.
  • Thorough understanding of food safety guidelines and sanitation regulations.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Willing to relocate to Democratic Republic of Congo ( DRC)

Salary: USD 1,700 plus free Accommodation, Transport and Food allowance.
