Your Role: Deliver Climate Strategy work in Australia

We’re looking for a driven early career Consultant or graduate to join our Climate & Nature Advisory team in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. You’ll be a core member of our advisory services in Australia – working on a wide range of projects and clients in the sustainability space where you will have the opportunity to develop your career in an energising and fun environment.

You’ll work across APAC, delivering practical, high-quality solutions for clients in:

• Aligning with Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS).
• Climate risk and scenario analysis
• GHG emissions accounting (Scopes 1, 2 & 3)
• Net-zero and decarbonisation strategy
• Renewable energy and fleet transition planning
• Nature Strategy and TNFD

What you’ll do

• Deliver Projects: Support end-to-end delivery of climate strategy projects, delivering quality, insight, and impact, including:
  • Gathering data using a range of techniques (interviews, surveys, focus groups, data requests)
  • Utilising data analysis tools, including Excel and GIS, to create tailored reports and, in some cases model and build scenarios
  • Supporting the development of presentations and reports for clients that have a clear narrative and help to inform decisions
• Support Growth: Support business development by supporting senior colleagues delivery high quality proposals, and developing client loyalty through quality work.
• Develop Skills: learning through experience, our learning and development programme and exposure to industry (conferences, webinars etc)

What you’ll bring

• Educational qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline (Master’s Degree preferred).
• Understanding of core concepts of climate science
• Passion and interest in sustainability and sustainable business
• Demonstrate understanding of some aspects climate & nature strategy, for example:
  • Climate risk assessments & scenario analysis
  • GHG accounting (including Scope 3)
  • Net-zero, carbon neutral and other sustainability frameworks (including SBTi)
  • Decarbonisation strategy and implementation roadmaps
  • TNFD, Nature Positive and Nature-based Solutions
  • The candidate would also be expected to have an understanding of the core requirements of the ASRS, and IFRS S2.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to deliver client-ready presentations.
• Ability to distil quantitative and qualitative data and communicate it succinctly to clients.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
