Sunflower is looking for a Motion Designer to join our Growth Team. In this role, you’ll play a large part in shaping how Sunflower shows up in the world by creating motion assets that bring our brand to life across campaigns, product launches, social media, and marketing channels.Conceptualize and create high-quality motion graphics and animations for social media platforms (think eye-catching explainer videos for TikTok, etc.). To stand out for this specific Growth Team role, you need to demonstrate that you can move fast without sacrificing "pixel-perfect" quality.
Responsibilities
- End-to-End Creation: Conceptualize, storyboard, and execute high-impact motion graphics and video content that tells a compelling brand story.
- Drive Growth: Produce "scroll-stopping" assets for social media and performance marketing that drive engagement and conversion.
- AI Innovation: Integrate cutting-edge AI tools (Google Veo 3, Sora) into your workflow to explore new styles and streamline production.
- Brand Stewardship: Maintain a consistent visual identity while showing the versatility to adapt tones across different channels and demographics.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of professional motion design experience, ideally within a high-growth startup or agency environment.
- Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro. You should be comfortable with complex expressions, kinetic typography, and advanced compositing.
- The AI Edge: Proven experience (or a deep, active interest) in using AI-assisted creative tools to enhance storytelling and production efficiency.
- Design Fluency: Strong familiarity with Figma and the ability to translate static product designs into dynamic, moving experiences.
- Storytelling Instincts: A master of timing, rhythm, and pacing. You know how to hook a viewer in the first 1.5 seconds.
- Growth Mindset: You thrive in fast-paced environments, welcome constructive feedback, and are always looking for ways to optimize your craft.
