Job Description
• Develop and deploy state-of-the-art perception functionalities independently and in collaboration with a team of experts
• Design and implement prototypes using tools such as MATLAB and Python, and develop production-ready solutions in object-oriented C++
• Create and execute software tests to evaluate functionality, correctness, and performance (e.g., Google Test, Python-based testing)
• Validate system performance in Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments as well as in real test vehicles
• Collaborate closely with Hungarian, German, and international development teams
• Provide technical support to customers when adapting the platform software to specific requirements
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of perception algorithms and development processes
Qualifications
• University degree in Computer Science, Control Theory, Electronics, Telecommunications, Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, Machine Learning, or a comparable field
• Strong mathematical background (e.g., trigonometry, linear algebra, discrete mathematics)
• Experience with scripting languages and software testing methods
• Strong analytical, structural, and logical thinking
• Proactive and assertive working style
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Target- and quality-oriented mindset
• Willingness to travel for business trips to Germany
• Fluency in English and/or German
• Leadership skills are considered an advantage
Nice to have (can be learned on the job)
• Ability to estimate, prioritize, and schedule own tasks effectively
• Experience working with embedded systems
• Knowledge of software engineering practices (e.g., software architecture, UML, version control)
