Atlantic Emergency Solutions is seeking a part-time Specialty Equipment Service Technician (Scott Division) to serve customers in New Philadelphia, OH and surrounding areas. In this role, you will support firefighters and emergency responders by servicing Scott SCBA equipment and related compressed air systems they depend on every day.


You will work directly with customer departments to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair specialized life-safety equipment. This position offers flexibility, meaningful work that supports your local community, and the opportunity to work independently while still being part of a supportive team.


Schedule:

  • Part-time schedule based on service needs
  • Flexible scheduling depending on customer service calls
  • Daytime work hours with occasional travel within the service territory

 

Work Environment:

  • Mobile service role supporting fire departments and emergency service organizations
  • Work performed at customer facilities and equipment service areas
  • Specialty work on Scott SCBA equipment and compressed air systems used by first responders


Key Job Duties:

  • Service and support Scott SCBA equipment and related compressed air products including compressors, dryers, and accessories
  • Conduct scheduled service visits at customer locations and perform preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs as needed to restore proper operation
  • Perform system testing, performance evaluation, and flow testing of compressed air systems
  • Install and configure equipment and components to ensure proper operation and safety compliance
  • Plan service calls, schedule work, manage travel routes, and maintain an organized daily service schedule
  • Promote available services including preventative maintenance programs, equipment upgrades, and replacement parts

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • Mechanical or technical service experience, preferably working with compressed air systems or life safety equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work independently and manage a service territory
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening
