DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The primary responsibility of this position is to learn how to open and close tables and provide exceptional table games dealing and customer service to guests. Specific responsibilities that will be covered during training include, but are not limited to the following:
- Attending all mandatory training sessions
- Table Games Training will encompass:
- Responsible for understanding the importance of game protection, control and the integrity of table games.
- Maintains accurate and professional dealing of cards and cash or chip transactions at assigned table.
- Responsible for the count and verification of tables, start up chips and the count and verification of all cards.
- Maintains appearance and cleanliness of tables and table games area.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION RELATIONSHIPS:
- Internal: Occasional contact with associates at all levels within all departments of the organization.
- External: Continual contact with guests and visitors.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Receives training, direction, and supervision from the Table Games Supervisor or Table Games Manager on a daily basis.
EDUCATION: A High School education or equivalent is required.
EXPERIENCE: Six months dealer and/or customer service experience is preferred.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills. Must possess basic math and cash handling skills and have a customer focus. Must be able to manage and maintain confidential and sensitive information with diplomacy and tact. Must maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations as necessary
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Work Conditions: The majority of position responsibilities are performed on the gaming floor with exposure to differentials in temperature and air quality.
- Exposure to Hazards: May be exposed to situations where spills, wet floors or guest behaviors may create undesirable conditions.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk, stand, bend or lift for extended periods of time.

OTHER: Must be able to work irregular hours, weekends, holidays and be available for call in to work on short notice. Must attend all mandatory meetings and participate in training and development sessions.
