Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $16/hr.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
Shift Options
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packaging, and shipping products while maintaining inventory accuracy and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving
- Receive inbound shipments accurately
- Verify receipts match vendor or transfer purchase orders
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies
Put Away / Stocking
- Stock incoming inventory following FIFO standards
- Verify part numbers and quantities match inventory locations
Order Picking
- Pull orders according to customer specifications
- Maintain order accuracy and inventory tracking
Packaging & Shipping
- Package orders to meet customer specifications
- Verify correct parts and quantities
- Ensure freight is rated according to company standards
Inventory Control
- Assist with cycle counts
- Stage inventory for orders and deliveries
Material Handling
- Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment
- Transport products throughout the warehouse
General Warehouse Duties
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Follow all safety procedures
- Participate in cross-training as needed
Overtime: Possible with approval
Requirements
Candidate Requirements
- 1–3 years of warehouse experience
- Forklift operation required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet daily deadlines
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred
- Computer experience
- Microsoft Office
- Shipping software or inventory systems
- Scanning and data entry experience
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Extensive standing, walking, bending, and repetitive movement
- Work in a warehouse environment with possible exposure to heat, noise, and dirt
Dress Code
