Vibrant is searching for a compassionate in-home caregiver who understands the importance of meeting our client's needs and allowing them to Be Home...Be Well...and Be Happy!! This job requires caring for others who need help staying or gaining independence AT THEIR OWN HOME including the elderly or clients with intellectual or physical disabilities of all ages.

In Home Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP) Essential Job Functions (differ based on client needs):

· Housekeeping/Cleaning & laundry

· Meal preparation & cooking

· Grocery shopping for or with the client

· Transportation & errands

· Personal cares and bathing

· Companionship

· Visit places in the community/socialize

· Engage in activities (games, memory books)

· Assist with goals such as, but not limited to social and behavior functioning, coping skills, self-advocacy, confidence building, relationship building, safe boundaries, etc. by Coaching, discussing, roleplaying, teaching etc.

Requirements

· MUST HAVE CAR INSURANCE!

· MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE!

· Must be 18 years or older

· Record daily care notes

· Report any significant client changes to the Agency office
