About the Candidate / Role
Tradewind Aviation is looking for an entry level Marketing Coordinator to work out of our base location in Middlebury, CT. The Marketing Coordinator will play a pivotal role within the Marketing team to support and execute a wide range of marketing initiatives aimed at increasing brand visibility, client engagement, and lead generation for Tradewind Aviation.
The position will provide hands-on support to the broader team while also being responsible for managing certain tasks and projects. The role involves representing the brand through client and partner communications, requiring strong, organized, and professional written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, creative, and eager to gain hands-on experience while contributing meaningfully to the Marketing team’s efforts.
Essential Functions
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, both digital and traditional, to increase awareness of Tradewind Aviation’s services.
- Research and monitor competitor activities and industry trends to ensure Tradewind Aviation’s marketing efforts remain relevant, on-trend and competitive.
- Assist in researching, planning, and preparing materials for internal and external events, such as trade shows, sponsorship opportunities, and client events.
- Work interdepartmentally to coordinate and execute brand partnership initiatives in Tradewind’s private lounges, assisting with campaign implementation, on-site activations, and digital advertising support.
- Monitor and report on Marketing KPI’s on a monthly cadence and assist in compiling performance insights.
- Update the company website, ensuring that content is accurate, and aligned with the brand’s messaging.
- Independently manage various in-person administrative marketing department tasks, including but not limited to: preparing and distributing mailings, producing and distributing collateral, printing materials, and monitoring and replenishing inventory
- Manage the marketing email inbox and respond to client, partner, and colleague mail inquiries in our brand voice.
- Support Sales team when necessary, including research, documentation, internal and external communication, and booking system assistance.
- Serve as first point of contact for the dedicated Marketing phone line, managing inbound inquiries and routing requests to the appropriate team as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- One to three years of experience preferred in marketing, communications, or hospitality.
- Dedicated work ethic, strong attention to detail, highly organized, and proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a positive attitude.
- Demonstrated organizational and project management skills
- Interest in data analysis and performance tracking, with ability to learn to interpret marketing metrics
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, displaying a professional and customer-focused approach when interacting with high-end clients and partners.
- Comfortable working independently within a small, collaborative team environment while also contributing to larger teams interdepartmentally.
- Ability to learn and navigate industry-specific software platforms and marketing tools.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office 365 – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, OneDrive, Teams
- Knowledge of WordPress website management platform preferred.

- Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods
- Ability to communicate clearly on the phone and in meetings (in person or virtual)
- Ability to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and standard office equipment.
