Our staff includes two certified AWS-CWI inspectors, one AWS-SCWI inspector and two AWS-CWS supervisors. Several members of our Quality Assurance Department are also certified in various NDT (nondestructive testing) processes per ASNT SNT TC-1a. With these certifications, Alloy Engineering can develop all necessary or required weld procedures, depending on the application, to produce the highest quality welded, fabricated product and certify 100% compliance.

Location: Hybrid - Berea/Cuyahoga Falls, OH (with periodic travel to Winston-Salem, NC)


AECO is seeking a Corporate Compliance & Safety Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting corporate quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives across multiple locations. This hands-on role involves assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality and compliance systems to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and proactive in driving continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in the development and maintenance of corporate quality management and compliance programs.

· Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, ISO, and other regulatory standards across all business units.

· Conduct audits and inspections to assess quality and safety compliance, identifying areas for improvement.

· Support and participate in safety training sessions and initiatives to promote a culture of safety and awareness.

· Administer corporate systems related to compliance, including ISO Express, SharePoint, and safety programs.

· Monitor and report on quality and safety performance metrics, assisting in the implementation of corrective actions as needed.

·Collaborate with facility teams and General Managers to ensure adherence to compliance standards and implementation of audit recommendations.

· Maintain corporate and facility procedural documentation to ensure alignment with regulations and company policies.

· Assist in coordinating regulatory agency interactions, inspections, and compliance reporting.

· Conduct regular site visits, alternating between Alloy Engineering (Berea, OH) and Mach3 (Cuyahoga Falls, OH), with quarterly travel to Thermcraft (Winston-Salem, NC).

· Promote a culture of continuous improvement and regulatory awareness throughout the organization.


Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

· Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, or EHS within a manufacturing environment.

· Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, as well as ISO standards.

· Experience in conducting audits and supporting quality and compliance programs.

· Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.

· Excellent communication and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

· Ability to travel between company locations as needed.
