TheraTree was formally known as Lynn Occupational Therapy owned by Dale Lynn, OTR/L who established the company in 2000. The family own and operated company provided OT services to the Owensboro Area community for 15 years before outgrowing it's name by offering speech and physical therapy services. The need for rebranding the business provided an opportunity for Jessica to purchase the company and create TheraTree to encompass the many services provided. Although ownership has change, Jessica and Dale continue to work together to run the company, provide the best care for clients, and a collaborative working environment for employees. Together Dale and Jessica have established an incredible relationship with area pediatricians as well as many families in the special needs community. YOUR ROLE AS AN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT

Perform skilled therapeutic services within the Occupational Therapy Assistant’s scope of practice. Including:

- Deliver evidence-based interventions with a focus on measurable progress and goal attainment.
- Administer and interpret standardized assessments that identify deficits related to sensory processing, fine motor, motor planning, emotional regulation, feeding, and daily life skills.

- Serve as a critical feedback loop to supervising OTs, identifying what’s working and where to pivot.

- Mentor interns and therapy aides, helping shape the next generation of pediatric therapists.
- Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members to support carryover into real environments.
- Develop care plans that prioritize independence, safety, and long-term functional outcomes.

- Celebrate patient success such that they are an inspiration for others!

Requirements

WHO YOU ARE

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current NBCOT certification
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Kentucky
  • CPR & First Aid certification.
  • Pass background check.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong clinical skills, powerful presence, and the flexibility to think like a clinician and a kid.
  • A track record (or dream) of turning challenges into victories.
  • Communication so clear it cuts through chaos and builds trust fast.
