THE TEAM
Business Change sits within the Crew Planning team as part of the wider Operations Strategy and Planning Team. You’ll work alongside talented colleagues who are passionate about delivering innovation and continuous improvement for our crew and operation.
THE ROLE
As Crew Planning Business Change Officer, you’ll support Crew Planning process change and implementation, standards, compliance, and safety investigation. Reporting to the Senior Business Change Officers, you’ll play a key role in enhancing crew planning processes, tools, and reports, and act as a Subject Matter Expert in our systems.
> Assist in enhancing the quality of crew planning processes, tools, and reports through active involvement in their delivery and review
> Specialise as a Subject Matter Expert in our systems, taking part in testing and providing support
> Collaborate with departments such as Recruitment, HR, ER, Payroll, IT and NC to review and ensure alignment and efficiency in crew planning processes
> Contribute to projects requiring business or systems change, assessing operational impact and recommending adjustments
> Participate in the development of crew planning and roster delivery processes, aiming for a balance between crew pay and lifestyle within regulated, negotiated, and discretionary agreements
> Utilise Microsoft O365 Apps and SharePoint to optimise Crew Planning team processes
> Provide support to the broader Operations Strategy and Planning teams during project training, roll-out, and initial Business as Usual phases
> Proactively identify potential risks and points of resistance, and formulate plans to mitigate concerns
> Conduct investigations and sub-investigations as required by our Safety Management System, supporting the Safety Action Group process
> Undertake work or projects to support the Senior Crew Planning Support Manager
> Adhere to easyJet policies, processes, and procedures
> Offer cross-functional support as needed within the Crew Planning function
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
> Two years operational experience within Crew Planning, Crew Establishment or Roster Optimisation, or industry equivalent
> Excellent working knowledge of EASA FTL regulations and complex crew collective agreements
> Experience of O365 Apps, including Power Automate/Workflows and SharePoint highly desirable
> Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
> Team player able to work with and through others to tight deadlines
> Ideally degree educated in an aviation related subject

PRACTICALITIES
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60%25 of our time per month in the office.
