POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Skilled Tradesman you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure our operations run smoothly. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include maintaining our company fleet, managing the fabrication shop, overseeing facility maintenance, and performing carpet installation and maintenance tasks. Your role will require flexibility, problem-solving abilities, and hands-on skills across multiple areas.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate the shop to produce hardware and props for shows.
• Oversee facilities maintenance for two warehouses
• Building and developing original products for purchase within our industry
• Ensuring cleanliness of the shop area

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in general electrical work and welding.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for machinery and knowledge of air compressors.
• General carpentry skills and experience with basic maintenance and repair tasks.
• Ability to work with a variety of tools and perform both hands-on tasks and planning.
• Reliable, consistent, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Good math, planning, and visualization skills, particularly for carpet layout and installation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

• Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items more than 50 pounds.
• Ability to effectively use hand tools, power tools, and machinery with precision and control.
• Comfort with kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders or scaffolding to reach and work at various heights and angles.
