JOB SUMMARY

The Digital Banking Team Leader is responsible for a wide range of duties related to JBT’s Consumer and Business Digital Banking Products. These include Digital banking, bill payment, mobile apps, mobile deposit, eStatements and other eDocs, digital business services including digital fraud protection positive pay, online loan payment service, debit cards, credit card program, ATMs, and telephone banking.


The candidate will specialize in both consumer and business digital banking services. Including, but not limited to instant/faster payments, digital business ACH and wire services, Autobooks, digital Fraud Protection positive pay services, business transaction disputes, business instant and faster payments, related parameters, troubleshooting, and functionality. This may include client visits to setup, demonstrate, or troubleshoot certain business products.  


The candidate must be able to assist with any other Digital Banking functions as needed. The position requires internal and external client contact and a good understanding of federal regulatory compliance issues and bank policies and procedures. Candidates for the position should be able to pay close attention to detail and have excellent problem solving and accounting skills and be familiar with a higher level of technical knowledge to assist users with troubleshooting issues.



As the Team Leader, this individual provides direct, daily support to the Digital Banking Team and is responsible for all employee development, training, and performance management.

Assists in all Digital Banking Department functions, as needed. An advanced level of experience with all Digital Banking products, parameters, and systems, is required. Candidates for the position must be competent in team leadership.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Team Leadership functions: Direct Supervisor of Digital Banking Team including performance management, candidate selection, cross training, and team building.
  • Working knowledge of all Digital Banking functions, systems, vendors, and platforms to a level of being able to complete task.
  • Assist with daily functions of systems administration.
  • Respond to digital banking conversations, telephone, and email inquiries from clients and associates
  • Perform daily functions for the above products such as profile maintenance, indemnity agreements, adding and deleting accounts, account maintenance, balancing, reporting, and return item and exception processing, etc.
  • Reset client and associate passwords, two-factor and text authentication, secure tokens 
  • Client card ordering, if applicable, etc.
  • Monitor enrollments for digital banking, bill pay, bank to bank, and mobile deposits
  • Regulation E error resolution, and debit and credit card chargebacks, adjustments, and disputes. 
  • Monitor transactions on all channels for possible fraudulent activity.
  • Scanning of all necessary items for record retention, if applicable. 
  • Assist Digital Banking Manager with system upgrades and testing 
  • Communicate with vendors regarding system or client issues
  • Perform research on any products managed by the Digital Banking Department 
  • Help maintain department procedures
  • Promote and preserve JBT’s values and culture.
  • Follow Bank policy and procedure to prevent fraud and financial crimes
  • Other duties as assigned



Requirements

SKILLS

  • Broad knowledge of departmental and Bank operating policies and procedures
  • Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with clients and associates
  • Team leadership and strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to recognize irregular or suspicious transactions or activity and take appropriate steps to prevent loss. 
  • Proficient mathematic and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of operations in other departments and bank retail outlets
  • Experience with using personal computers and common business applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Exposure to bank core accounting systems, Jack Henry Silverlake preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of ATMs; operation of, balancing and troubleshooting.
  • Extensive knowledge of PCs, Internet Browsers, mobile devices and apps, and related Operating Systems.
  • Extensive experience with digital banking platforms, Jack Henry Banno preferred.
  • Deep expertise in debit card program processing, operations, transaction flow, interchange optimization, network compliance, fraud mitigation, and vendor oversight. 
  • Ability to operate common business equipment such as copiers, printers, and scanners.
  • Above average problem solving and accounting skills, critical thinking
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
