Overview

As a TAG Readiness and Training Analyst you will assist the NSWG-11 N3 with the execution of the Commander’s guidance in the areas of Defense Readiness Reporting, Reserve Training Curriculum development, readiness and training planning, Operational Risk Management and High-Risk Training program compliance, and oversite of training equipment and ordnance requirements. 


Security Requirement:

  • Must possess a SECRET Security Clearance. 

*This position is contingent upon contract award


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • The Contractor shall assist the N3 Department on matters in line with the Commander’s Guidance and Intent. 
  • The Contractor shall assist the NSWG-11 N3 Department in Defense Readiness Reporting (DRRS) responsibilities in accordance with Naval Special Warfare, Department of the Navy, and Department of Defense guidance and the development/maintenance of readiness dashboards. 
  • The Contractor shall assist the NSWG-11 N3 Department in the development of Reserve Training Curriculum and Training Scopes. 
  • The Contractor shall assist the NSWG-11 N3 Department in collaboration with the NSWG-11 Plans Officer for exercise support. 
  • The Contractor shall assist the NSWG-11 N3 Department in collating actions within NSWG-11 and assisting with compliance of training programs. 
  • The Contractor shall assist the NSWG-11 N3 Department in the validation of operational training and equipment requirements. 
  • The Contractor shall assist the NSWG-11 N3 Department in the development and execution of long- and short-term training plans. 
  • The Contractor shall assist the High-Risk Training (HRT) Officer in the administration, inspection and execution of the HRT and Operational Risk Management programs in accordance with Naval Special Warfare, Department of the Navy, and Department of Defense guidance. 
  • The Contractor shall ensure that completion of training and exercises are properly recorded in the appropriate systems. 
  • The Contractor will provide oversite on the Non-Combat Expenditure Allocation (NCEA). 

Position Requirements:

  • Possess a valid state driver’s license. 
  • Be able to operate a Personal Computer (PC) with common/standard business software programs. 
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
  • Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with others, both verbally and in writing. 
  • Be able to enter data into multiple databases accurately. 
  • Must have served at a minimum rate/rank of SOC or SBC (E-7) while on Active Duty (Required).
  • Must have either a Master Training Specialist (MTS) or Journeyman Instructor certification (Preferred).
  • Must have completed training as an NSW Range Safety Officer (Required).
  • Must have experience running High Risk Training evolutions within NSW (Required).
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited University in a related field (Preferred).
