Golf Operations Supervisor
Reports To: Golf Operations Manager
Department: Golf Operations
Status: Seasonal, Full-Time
Expected Start Date: April 29, 2026
Pay Range: $23.50-$25.00
POSITION OVERVIEW: The Golf Operations Supervisor will provide support to the Golf Operations Manager. The supervisor will be skilled in anticipating the needs of each department throughout day-to-day operations. They will assist in logging merchandise, costing products, inventory, and submitting invoices. The supervisor will be directly reporting to the Operations Manager and will be involved in training new staff for all positions and continued attention to ensure all processes are followed. When the Operations Manager is off site, the supervisor will oversee operations effectively and solve problems as they arise.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Core Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional experience unique to each golfer.
- Train staff on customer service, steps of service, course rules and etiquette, safety procedures, chain of commands, and operational procedures.
- Oversee tee sheet management as well as actively anticipating needs and potential issues.
- Communicate the importance of managing the tee sheet and reviewing each note to the pro shop staff so that they are prepared for each day.
- Train pro shop staff on all systems and processes. Included, but not limited to, rental clubs, tee time booking, policies, golf etiquette and basic golf knowledge, practice facilities.
- Oversee Outside Services daily operation ensuring that we are executing service seamlessly and up to standard.
- Provide support to all staff that are within Clubhouse Operations acquiring any knowledge of needs or issues that need to be addressed by the Golf Operations Manager.
- Maintain an open line of communication with the Management team.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Inspect all areas in each department at the beginning and end of the day.
- Evaluate each department’s closing and opening checklists and correct as needed.
- Assist the Operations Manager in reviewing all employees’ performance, disciplinary actions, and hiring.
- Address and resolve any guest complaint, effectively deescalate situations, and professionally resolve issues as they arise following our guest relations philosophy as necessary when Operations Manager is not present.
- Support Operations Manager in inventory counting, inputting new inventory into POS, and familiarizing yourself with COGS, budgets, and all systems and procedures.
- Oversee cash handling, merchandise sales, and exhibit a strong understanding of revenue goals.
- Oversee cleanliness and organization of each department and their respective areas. Report any maintenance needs or safety concerns to the Operations Manager.
- Document any situation that arises according to the company policy based on the extent of the situation.
Ensure that you are proficient with the POS, booking system, staff expectations, course rules and etiquette, as well as what your role is in detail. Maintain a strong ability to remain calm under pressure, stay professional in escalated situations, strong ability to multitask, lead team members affectively, and remain professional among staff conflicts.

- Approximate number of instructors and staffing to oversee is 40-60 employees
Requirements
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- College degree preferred.
- 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to lift and carry materials (up to 40 lbs).
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to stand or move for extended periods during events.
- Strong ability to remain calm under pressure, multitask, lead team members effectively, and remain professional at all times.
