Overview:
The Client Support Specialist is the first point of contact for individuals and families seeking Behavioral Health and Outreach services. The role focuses on creating a welcoming experience for clients while handling administrative and clinic support tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and staff
- Verify insurance eligibility using healthcare portals
- Check in clients, schedule appointments, and process payments
- Perform data entry and administrative support for behavioral health programs
- Assist with clinic operations and office tasks
- Manage incoming phone calls through the call center
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of front desk experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience working with medical insurance
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong commitment to confidentiality and data privacy
- High attention to detail and organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
- Professional, friendly, and compassionate attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish (highly valued)
- Experience with Epic (EHR)
