Supervisor – SMP

We are currently seeking to fill two highly skilled, safety‑focused SMP Supervisor positions to support a major underground project at Olympic Dam in South Australia. The project will encompass a broad range of disciplines such as civil, rail, mechanical and fabrication and will aim to provide a safe, reliable and efficient Projects program.

This position will work closely with the Project Manager, your Leading Hands and work crews to ensure the work crew is set up to succeed, where schedule is considered, and work is performed in a safe and reliable manner.

To be considered for a role the following skills and experience would be preferred:

·       Supervise and coordinate all SMP construction activities across designated Construction Work Packages (CWPs).

·       Ensure compliance with engineering standards, specifications, and quality requirements for SMP works.

·       Lead daily site coordination and planning meetings with SMP crews and subcontractors.

·       Monitor progress against schedule and report performance metrics including SPI and CPI.

·       Ensure all Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and Inspection Test Records (ITRs) are completed and submitted via CCMS.

·       Oversee installation of structural steelwork, mechanical equipment, and piping systems.

·       Coordinate with other disciplines (EIC, Civil, Commissioning) to manage interfaces and SIMOPS.

·       Ensure all SMP works are executed in accordance with approved Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Task Hazard Analyses (THAs).

·       Support commissioning activities and provide trade support as required.

·       Maintain accurate red-line markups and ensure timely submission of as-built documentation.

·       Ensure compliance with HSEC requirements including Field Leadership, hazard management, and event reporting.

·       Ability to review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and mine layouts.

·       Strong commitment to developing and maintaining a safe working environment

·       Ability to prioritise, plan, organise and complete work within established deadlines

·       Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels in an informative and positive manner

·       Strong client focus and a genuine desire to assist team members
