Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Suit up! Don your uniform like a superhero ready for action—looking sharp is part of your superpower.
• Get ready for a schedule that keeps you on your toes: your hours will dance to the rhythm of hotel business.
• Channel your inner Tetris master as you load and unload the dish-washing machine—precision is key for peak efficiency!
• When the dish-washing machine takes a day off, step up and show your troubleshooting skills.
• Take out the trash with flair, making sure it’s tucked in the dumpster securely.
• Replace garbage liners daily, or whenever needed, keeping the place sparkling clean.
• Sweep, mop, and transform the dish-washing area into a neat, organized, and spotless stage.
• Wipe down and sanitize all food prep areas every day.
• Be ready for unexpected missions—other duties may await you in this lively work adventure!

EDUCATION

Basic reading, writing and math. Ability to read, speak, write and understand the primary language of the workplace.

EXPERIENCE

Previous Guest Service experience in a hotel or commercial building preferred but will train the right person. Customer service and interpersonal skills.

REQUIREMENTS 

Must meet legal age requirements of the state.

PHYSICAL & ENVIROMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift)
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds (including trays, supplies, or equipment)
• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive motions
• Ability to work outdoors and indoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, sun, and humidity
• Ability to navigate stairs, docks, patios, pool decks, and uneven surfaces
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-noise environment with frequent interruptions
• Visual and auditory ability to observe guests, staff, and service areas
• Work Environment
• Fast-paced resort food and beverage operations with seasonal fluctuations in volume
• Exposure to food service equipment, cleaning chemicals, and wet or slippery surfaces
• High guest interaction and team coordination throughout each shift.
