About the Role

Description

The Maintenance Technician will oversee the performance and maintenance of large production machinery.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
  • Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
  • Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
  • Orders and installs replacement parts for machines.
  • Identifies the cause of unexpected breakdown of machine.
  • Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School degree, some college preferred
  • 2+ years' work experience in manufacturing setting
  • Database management
  • MS Office proficiency, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Working knowledge of plant equipment and parts a plus
  • May be required to work long hours and weekends
