We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Convention Services Manager to join our hospitality team. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from contract signing through event completion, ensuring all needs are met.
- Coordinate with various departments such as catering, audiovisual, housekeeping, and security to facilitate seamless event execution.
- Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure successful outcomes.
- Conduct site inspections and meetings with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert guidance.
- Oversee setup, breakdown, and post-event evaluations to maintain high standards of service quality.
- Resolve any issues or concerns promptly to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Maintain detailed records of client preferences, event details, and contractual agreements.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in convention services, event planning, or hospitality management.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of venue operations, catering, and audiovisual services is a plus.
