Responsibilities:
- Solution and Enablement Development: Design and develop HW, SW, and SYS-level enablement and solutions based on NXP Automotive MCU, including reference designs, Evaluation Boards (EVBs), and comprehensive software reference implementations.
- NPI Support: Actively participate in the NPI process, providing expert technical assurance.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Support front-line technical teams by resolving complex challenges encountered during customer support; coordinate and leverage internal cross-functional resources to ensure issue closure.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with key accounts (e.g., leading automotive OEMs) to execute POC projects and drive the planning and implementation of platform-level system solutions.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years of R&D experience in automotive electronics, industrial control, or embedded system design.
- Architecture Expertise: Deep understanding of microprocessor architectures and principles, including multi-core, system bus, on-chip peripherals, hardware accelerators/co-processors, Cache, and DMA, supported by extensive hands-on experience.
- Software Proficiency: Skills in embedded software development within the automotive domain. Familiarity with RTOS, AUTOSAR (CP), peripheral driver development, and advanced debugging methodologies.
- Safety & Security: Solid grasp of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Automotive Cybersecurity concepts and their practical applications.
- System Knowledge: Practical experience or strong knowledge of Electronic Control Unit (ECU) lifecycles, including SYS, SW, HW, and quality management.
- Communication: Excellent cross-team and cross-regional collaboration skills, with the ability to use English as a working language.
- Soft Skills: Self-motivated with a strong desire for professional growth; possesses a high degree of responsibility and a collaborative team spirit.
- Adaptability: Proven ability to handle multitasking under pressure, work independently, and travel both domestically and internationally as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Automotive Ethernet, including Ethernet Switches and Time-Sensitive Networking.
- Familiarity with advanced E/E Architectures and the latest trends in Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV/SDA).
- Prior R&D experience at major automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
- Hands-on experience in Motor Control development.
- Experience in EMC/EMI design, testing, or troubleshooting for automotive electronics.
- Broad awareness of automotive industry technical standards and emerging technology trends.
