TSMC Arizona is looking for a CM engineer to join our new fab project, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. As a CM engineer, you will demonstrate a strong sense of reliability and enthusiasm and will possess an attitude that embodies our core values – Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Customer Trust.
TSMC Arizona’s Building Construction Department responsibilities will encompass code interpretation, project planning and scheduling, resource monitoring and control, interface coordination, as well as oversight on quality, safety, and security.
Job Description:
Your main responsibilities include:
- General responsibility of the CM engineer.
- Ensuring CSA design compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Overall control of the project schedule.
- Planning, allocation, and monitoring of resources and construction materials.
- Logistic planning and management of the construction site.
- Coordination and integration of interfaces between various construction contractors.
- Managing related permits and communicating with authorities or relevant parties on construction matters.
- Handling construction payments and change orders.
- Managing safety, quality, and security on the construction site.
- Inspecting and documenting the construction site.
- Monitoring the design progress of the design consultant and identifying potential risks based on construction schedule requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:
- B.S. Degree in a relevant field, such as Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture.
- Familiar with project scheduling software (Microsoft Project, etc), graphic software (AutoCAD, etc) and BIM software (Revit, etc) is a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience in the U.S. in CSA construction or a related field.
- In-depth understanding and practical experience on international building regulations and construction sequence.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with team members and stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities are necessary for successfully working under pressure.
- Professional Engineer license is a plus.
- Flexibility to change priorities and responsibilities to support business needs.
- Willing to work in a clean room environment.

- Fluent English is required.
